Valuations Associate
We’re partnering with a prestigious Asset Management firm with over $70 Billion in AUM that specializes in real estate investments to find a highly skilled Real Estate Investment Valuations Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate valuations looking to make an impact in a dynamic, high-visibility role.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly valuations of a diverse real estate portfolio (debt and equity) using various valuation techniques such as DCF, direct capitalization, and sales comparison approaches.
Analyze complex financial models, assess key assumptions, and track significant asset events.
Prepare and present comprehensive valuation reports to senior management and investment committees.
Collaborate with auditors and other internal teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to quarterly investor letter preparation and other key valuation processes.
Looking For:
3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate valuations (debt and/or equity) – ideally from a top-tier consulting firm or financial services institution.
Expertise in valuation techniques and real estate finance products like RMBS, CMBS, and more.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of Argus software being a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A degree in a relevant field, with CFA/CPA certification being a bonus.
