Associate Wealth Advisor

We’re supporting a highly regarded investment firm in their search for a Senior Internal Auditor. This person will play a key role in managing and executing audits focused on asset management functions. You’ll lead full-cycle audit engagements—from planning to reporting—while building strong partnerships across the business. Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle audits: planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.

  • Identify and assess key processes, risks, and controls across asset management functions.

  • Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, and testing procedures; document findings and audit reports.

  • Draft clear audit issues and collaborate with stakeholders to build actionable remediation plans.

  • Track issue resolution and conduct follow-up testing where needed.

  • Maintain audit universe coverage by keeping risk assessments updated and relevant.

  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and control partners.

  • Monitor audit budgets, timelines, and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Supervise junior team members and review audit documentation.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in internal audit within financial services or asset management.

  • Strong understanding of controls testing, risk frameworks, and audit documentation standards.

  • Clear and confident communicator—able to engage with stakeholders and present findings effectively.

  • Strong writing skills: capable of producing concise narratives, audit reports, and issue statements.

  • CPA, CIA, or CISA (completed or in progress) preferred.

  • Experience leading audits and managing junior staff.

  • Collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to firmwide initiatives (e.g., CSR, DEI).

  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and handle multiple priorities.
