Associate Wealth Advisor
We’re supporting a highly regarded investment firm in their search for a Senior Internal Auditor. This person will play a key role in managing and executing audits focused on asset management functions. You’ll lead full-cycle audit engagements—from planning to reporting—while building strong partnerships across the business. Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle audits: planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
Identify and assess key processes, risks, and controls across asset management functions.
Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, and testing procedures; document findings and audit reports.
Draft clear audit issues and collaborate with stakeholders to build actionable remediation plans.
Track issue resolution and conduct follow-up testing where needed.
Maintain audit universe coverage by keeping risk assessments updated and relevant.
Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and control partners.
Monitor audit budgets, timelines, and escalate concerns when necessary.
Supervise junior team members and review audit documentation.
What You Bring:
Experience in internal audit within financial services or asset management.
Strong understanding of controls testing, risk frameworks, and audit documentation standards.
Clear and confident communicator—able to engage with stakeholders and present findings effectively.
Strong writing skills: capable of producing concise narratives, audit reports, and issue statements.
CPA, CIA, or CISA (completed or in progress) preferred.
Experience leading audits and managing junior staff.
Collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to firmwide initiatives (e.g., CSR, DEI).
Ability to work independently, think critically, and handle multiple priorities.
