Senior Analyst/Associate
This role is focused on business analysis, business system implementation, and project management. The candidate will be responsible for translation of business processes into system requirements and will work with partners to implement solutions that improve business processes. The candidate will serve as a liaison between the Operations, Risk, and Portfolio Management teams. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial personality with a strong ownership mentality, technical background, and the ability to handle multiple, ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the strategic planning, implementation, and on-going improvements of several existing
and new technology systems and initiatives
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for the
integration project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, objectives, and timelines
- Engage with vendors to understand platform capabilities, develop project plans and timelines, and
ensure timely delivery
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, providing regular updates
on project status, milestones, and key decisions
- Anticipate and address potential challenges associated with organizational change, ensuring smooth
transition and adoption of new systems and processes
- Apply data governance strategies through implementation of systems and procedures that are
scalable
- Contribute to the development of standardized and systematic data strategy across multiple
functional verticals
- Create optimized workflows to support enhancing existing capabilities around data analysis and
visualizations
- Liaise with department stakeholders on data requests, communication and fundraising updates,
projections, portfolio summaries, and special projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst
- Demonstrated experience with reference data systems, particularly Arcesium and/or Allvue
- Excellent skills in data management and analysis, business analytics, and problem-solving
- Experience writing queries in Snowflake, SQL Server, SSRS, and building dashboards in Power BI
- Professional background in investments, operations, or finance industries (Fixed Income preferred)
- Knowledge of private credit, private equity, and/or junior capital investments/structures preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Balancing thoroughness and keen attention to detail with efficiency of work
