Part-Time Shareholder Services Consultant
A part-time consultant is sought to support the Shareholder Services team in handling high-volume invoice processing. The consultant will be responsible for executing key financial tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring compliance with internal policies and timelines.
Responsibilities
Review and process intermediary invoices on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Establish and maintain agreement rates and ensure accurate invoice alignment.
Load invoices into the appropriate agreements, fees, and periods.
Calculate fees by comparing agreement-based fee calculations with invoices.
Conduct tolerance-based reasonability checks and resolve discrepancies.
Approve invoices with proper allocation and payment information.
Manage invoicing contacts to independently resolve data discrepancies and gather additional information to reconcile invoices.
Coordinate invoice payments across multiple departments, ensuring timely submission and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor payments until completion.
Create and maintain dashboards and internal reports to track invoice status from receipt to payment.
Maintain accurate records of agreement terms and ensure system updates for executed changes.
Prepare reports, industry surveys, and internal memorandums promptly and accurately.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, or economics.
At least 1 year of experience in accounting or the financial services industry.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
