Corporate Development Manager
A well-established firm is seeking a motivated and analytical professional to join its Corporate Development team. This role will involve supporting acquisition analysis, due diligence, and strategic initiatives to align with the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will contribute to financial modeling, market research, and transaction assessments, playing a key role in evaluating potential business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and due diligence on acquisition targets, assessing strategic fit and financial impact.
Develop financial models and valuation analyses to support transaction decision-making.
Assist in preparing presentations and business cases for senior leadership.
Manage due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure thorough evaluations.
Identify and communicate potential risks, providing insights and recommendations for mitigation.
Serve as a liaison between various teams to streamline due diligence and transaction execution.
Summarize and present key findings from due diligence reports to senior executives.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant business experience, preferably in corporate development, investment banking, or consulting.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Ability to assess market trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services industry is a plus but not required.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
