Applications and Miscellaneous Processing:
Applications and processing are a formality of
most large companies. For most people they are
never a problem.
To avoid problems, be as accurate and honest as
you can when filling out an application. Anything
that can be verified will be!
Specifically be sure that your GPA, degree, and
salary information is accurate. Also be upfront
about your reasons/situations for leaving other
jobs, criminal record, and debts.
Almost all companies make applicants take a drug
test. If you have any questions concerning drug
testing, please feel free to ask us. If you take
a prescription medication please have a copy or
a note from your doctor with you.
When you begin a job search or contemplate changing
jobs you should prepare a list of references of
former employees, employers or colleagues that
can verify your professional skills. You should
talk to them before perspective employers do to
ensure that they are prepared to give you a positive
recommendation.
It is also a good idea to check your own credit
report to see if there are any long forgotten
debts.
